Jakie the one-year Keiki

Today Jake turned one year old. Because today is a workday for me we didn't celebrate with a party or cake, all that will have to wait until this weekend when I have some time off. Instead we did the next best thing......Mom brought Jake to me at work and Jake got 3 shots to the legs. Jake did well and only cried for a couple minutes before he was back to his normal rambunctious self and immediately went back to working on dismantling the FP clinic. By the way jake is still big for his age, he weighed 25.6 lbs (80th Percentile), was 30.2 (60th percentile) inches long and his head circumference was intially off the charts until we re-measured him but he definitely inherited the McGrail noggin and is still 95%. Happy birthday Jake!!!!

Good pictures from his birthday getting shots. You'll have to add the more traditional cake and candle version! Thanks for adding them to the blog.

Happy birthday, Jakie! Here's to hoping for cake and candles instead of shots this weekend...

Poor baby! Maybe the cake and candles this weekend will help make up for the birthday shots...
